You will need to bring a reliable center fire pistol, a minimum of 4 magazines, a holster that covers the trigger and has some form of retention( Blackhawk CQC holsters and those with finger drive releases are not acceptable),magazine pouches to hold your magazines, and a good belt (the belt should be two part, inner and outer, or a rigid inner. Some part of the belt must go through the belt loops on your pants. Eye and hearing protection are mandatory when on an active range. I recommend bringing 800 rounds of reliable ammunition. You may not use all of it, but you are better off having too much than not enough.
