An Equipment Manager for IPSC BC this position will oversee the procurement, maintenance, and management of all equipment used in IPSC BC sanctioned qualifiers and the provincial championships. This role ensures that all gear is functioning properly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Procurement and Maintenance: Oversee the acquisition of targets, timers, accessories, and related gear. Ensure all equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all equipment, targets, etc, and report to the board on a monthly basis, and submit a yearly report for the AGM.
- Issue invoices for all products sold.
- Event Preparation: Collaborate with event organizers to ensure timely availability.
- Budget Management: Assist in budgeting for equipment purchases, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring cost-effective decisions without compromising quality or safety.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in equipment management, preferably within a shooting sports context.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IPSC equipment.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle and transport equipment safely.
This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of IPSC events in BC, ensuring that all equipment-related aspects are handled professionally and safely.
