This past weekend, the Board of Directors held an in-person meeting where significant headway was made in the discussions. However, there is still much work ahead. The Board of Directors want to reassure all members and those interested in IPSC that we are moving forward with confidence. All scheduled matches, Black Badge courses, and range officials’ courses will proceed as planned.
Unfortunately, we have lost the PCC Division, which will impact the 2025 schedule. The Zone Directors will collaborate with Match Directors over the coming weeks to address the matches affected by this change, but there is no desire to cancel any events.
Our Public Relations Coordinator, Dawne, is currently developing a plan of action. Be assured that there is a lot of effort being put forth and this will become more visible in the near future. IPSC BC aims to be proactive in the coming months, showcasing the sport we all love to those who may not be familiar with it and equipping our members with the tools to navigate these times.
As attention on our community grows, leadership encourages everyone to uphold the highest standards of conduct. When engaging in discussions, please approach them with patience and respect. Stay informed and maintain open communication with one another. While our community has faced another setback, let us remain hopeful—there is still much to be gained.
We will diligently continue to communicate and in the meantime; if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your Zone Director or contact Dawne at .
